Perl Golf and 1974

Just as a little mid-tournament piece of trivia that might 
amuse some of us.

A long time ago, it was discovered that a cluster of Perl golfers was
born in 1974. Some wild hypothesises involving interplanetary
invasion plans, secret labotaries and worldwide conspirations have 
been brought forward. Those speculation, it goes without saying, were 
unfounded. No, really, they were. Don't try to prove otherwise, for
we will have to deal with you too.

No, the truth lies in the more arcane field of astrology. Astrology
from the East, it must be said. Indeed, if one is to look into
Chinese astrology, one would find out that 1974 is the year
of the Tiger, and that it's under the auspice of the Wood element.
