it would help with your perl experience in general which is always good
for jobs. whether an employer will care about it is another matter.

there is always room on cpan for more useful modules. don't think it is
complete. finding a problem to solve is an interesting problem in it own
right. most people write modules to scratch their own itches. if it
helps someone else all the better.
