I'm not comfortable with the idea of doing this behind anyone's back. If
someone declined the suggestion to redirect a job to jobs.perl.org, it
may be because of laziness, but it may also be that, for whatever
reason, they didn't want to find a candidate that way.

By surriptitiously forwarding declined job offer mails to a hypothetical
<[email protected]> list, we're effectively becoming spammers.
Polite, well-meaning spammers maybe, but it's still not right, is it?

I think the list should at least be put on some kind of opt-in or
opt-out grounds. If you get a job solicitation that you aren't
interested in, and would like to forward it to this new list, I think
the protocol should at least be to sent this person a form letter, e.g.

    I'm sorry, I'm not looking for a job right now, but if you'd like I
    can circulate the details of the job among some qualified people who
    are are looking at <http://jobs.perl.org/forwards/>. Would it be
    okay with you if I forward your mail to this site?

Or, for a less pushy version, go 'opt-out' with a final sentence like:

    [....] Unless you have any objections, I'd like to forward your
    mail to this site.

Or words to that effect.

I think the list is essentially a good idea, but I'm not sure that just
forwarding everything without contacting the person filling the job is
the right way to do it. Make sense?
