I do this and recently my project manager asked "Where are you keeping
records of your time usage?". "On a pad" I replied.

...a few minutes pass...

Manager: You mean 'Notepad'?

Me: No - a real pad. Paper and pen sort of thing.

Manager: Oh - didn't realise people still did that...
