be wary of HMS

i feel i have to post this warning to all perl job seekers as health
market science (HMS) recently posted a job opening. a well known perl
developer worked there and felt they were asking him to do unethical
things and he called them on it. they had him arrested and pursued heavy
prosecution and civil suits. this was reported all over the perl
community but in case anyone has forgotten or didn't know, i am bringing
this up. as the founder of this list, and a head hunter myself, i feel
obligated to warn people about working for HMS. interestingly i actually
did some consulting for HMS but way before this incident happened and i
wasn't asked to do anything untoward. i will never work for HMS nor
offer any of my placement services to them.
