that is incorrect. i started the original jobs lists and there was one 
list for looking for work and another offering jobs. later that migrated 
to [email protected] and both were allowed there but offering work was much 
more common. then the web site was created and it only offered ways to 
offer work and direct emails to the list were very rare after that. 
which is why seeking work posts aren't seen anymore.

that is why i originally made two lists. but knowing who is looking 
could help people hiring too. maybe someone doesn't apply to a job lead 
but does post they are seeking work. someone at that firm that had the 
lead could contact the seeker if they thought there would be a good 
match. matching can happen in both directions so allowing job seekers on 
the list makes sense.

when i have leads to post, i just use the web site as others do and i 
see them. i sent an email to the [email protected] list and i haven't seen 
it approved or why it wasn't approved.
