Description:
My client is seeking an experienced Perl web developer to take a lead role
in the development of next-generation on-line recruitment products using
the latest and best technologies and processes available. 

This is an
excellent opportunity for a talented Perl developer with solid experience
of developing modern Perl and Javascript web applications, wanting to use
the latest technologies in an environment where you can have maximum
impact. 

Responsibilities: 

Develop user stories into proposed
developments 
Present and discuss proposals with team and stakeholders,
improve proposals and identify iterative delivery cycles 
Deliver working
software both as an individual full stack developer and working as part of
a development team 
Participate in other team activities including sprint
plans, code review, design sessions

Desired skills:
•	Must have solid experience of developing Perl, SQL and Javascript
web applications on Linux as a member of a development team.
•      
Experience of any of the following technologies would be an advantage:
MySQL, Linux (Debian), Catalyst framework, DBIx, Moose, Angular, J-Query,
test-driven development, GIT.
•	Able to work in the UK without any
restrictions. Security Clearance may be required for this role.
•      
Educated to degree level (ideally a technical degree)
