Our Scenario
Learning brand is looking for a Software Developer that will work with a
great team in a Linux environment to create new and exciting web
applications that primarily serve the education market. You will be using a
combination of Perl, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other open source technologies.


This position has the opportunity to work remote.

Desired skills:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science 
A minimum of 4 years relevant
experience 
SQL competency
Perl 
Linux command line competency 
Familiarity
with version control systems 
Ability to work both individually and as part
of a team 
Ability to develop and adhere to departmental best practices 
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and on your own 
An insatiable
drive to write high quality maintainable code 
Git experience is a plus 
Experience with web app development is a plus 
Contributions to Open Source
projects is a plus
