Back in the day, the Wombles of Wimbledon collected rubbish. Nowadays,
since the advent of motorised road sweepers, they’d be in need of a new
profession. Perl Developer, perhaps? Our client is based in the heart of
Wimbledon, under a mile away from the Common where the Wombles famously
made their home.

This client makes cutting edge software for recruiters
and, having tested some of the system out, Perl Careers can gladly confirm
that it’s a great product. That’s corroborated by the fact that they can
name JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Marks & Spencer among their customers. 

They’re looking for an experienced Perl developer to join their ambitious
team. The business is growing, but still maintains an entrepreneurial
spirit at its core and is a friendly place to work. The option of half a
week telecommuting is an added bonus.

Desired skills:
The right candidate will have a good background in JavaScript as well as
Perl, and be ready to take a lead role in making improvements to their web
applications. The company use a range of modern Perl technologies, and
experience with some of the following would be a big advantage:

MySQL,
Linux (Debian), Catalyst framework, DBI::x, Moose, Angular, J-Query,
test-driven development and GIT
