We now
have the opportunity for an experienced and skilled senior developer to
help with the continuing expansion of the UK's fastest growing job board.

As a senior developer you will have an in depth knowledge of Modern Perl
and object-oriented programming. You believe in best practices and tests
(sometimes developing using TDD).

You are equally happy adding new
features or refactoring legacy code to improve the overall architecture.
You enjoy learning new technologies and coaching/mentoring your fellow
developers.

Essential skills:

* OO Perl with Moose
* Apache / Nginx
* SQL
(MySQL)
* Linux
* Version control (ideally with Git)

Our development team
performs code review (with Gerrit) and continuous integration (with Jenkins
running our Test::Class unit tests) to increase code quality. We use commit
hooks with Perltidy and Perl::Critic and we have daily standups, and weekly
demos and retrospectives.

The team enjoy a quiet working environment with:

Experience with any following would be advantageous:

* Solr
* Template
