Description:
Our client has an immediate need for PERL Developer for a contract to hire
opportunity. The chosen candidate can be in Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL or can
work remotely if approved.  Responsibilities will be to write, maintain,
and support Perl scripts in a complex AIX environment with 130+ Perl
scripts interfacing with Oracle Databases and multiple external Supply
Chain applications via EAI, EDI, and WebSphere MQ. You will be first line
support for a complex Supply Chain application environment and the
resolution of customer-facing problem incidents as well as develop priority
enhancements and maintenance projects, via Perl script and Oracle database

Responsibilities:
•	Support Perl scripts in a complex AIX environment
interfacing with Oracle Databases and multiple external Supply Chain
applications via EAI, EDI, and WebSphere MQ
•	Be first line support
of a complex Supply Chain application environment and the resolution of
customer-facing problem incidents
•	Develop enhancements and
maintenance projects, via Perl script and Oracle database development
Minimum Requirements:
•	Bachelor’s Degree required. 
•	2+ years
of experience developing and maintaining Perl scripts 
•	2+ years of
experience writing moderately complex SQL queries 
•	Experience
working in AIX environment 
•	Experience with the following is a
plus, but not required: 
o	Oracle database
o	Visual Basic (for
projects interfacing with an integrated online application) 
o      
WebSphere MQ
