Description:
Our rapidly growing Chicago based Education Software Company is looking for
a Perl developer to join our group. We provide K-12 educators with web
based programs that assist them in raising student achievement by providing
real-time access to student achievement data used to shape their
instruction. 

We are looking for someone with a talent for tracking down
problems, finding timely and effective solutions, and navigating their way
through a legacy code base. This person needs to be organized,
self-motivated, an effective team player, and experienced in handling
time-critical production application issues.

Although working onsite is
preferred, it is not a requirement as our priority is to have the most
qualified talent join our team.  Off-site candidates must be available
during normal business hours CST (UTC-6).

Desired skills:
The following skills are required: 

* Perl, SQL, CSS, HTML,
JavaScript/jQuery 
* Full Stack Development both Front and Backend 
*
Revision Tracking Systems (Git) 
* Catalyst, DBIx::Class 
* Customer
Focused with strong solution-oriented approach 

Huge plus if you are a
full stack developer with any of these added skills: Sys Admin, Ruby,
Docker, AWS or PostgreSQL experience.

The following education is required:

• BS or comparable experience
