Description:
What You’ll Be Doing:

 

Implementation of software components and modules
based on specifications and designs provided by team leads and software
designers
Unit, integration, system testing of implemented software
components
Code review of other engineer’s work to maintain quality of code
and best practices
Participate in team agile process planning and review
sessions
Participate in team retrospectives of processes and procedures and
suggest improvements where identified
Support other team members when they
need assistance in completing high priority work tasks
Continuously growing
and developing software engineering skills to be able to take on more
complex problems going forward

Desired skills:
What You Bring to the Table: 

2-5 years of Software
Engineering/Development experience with the Perl programming language
2-5
years of experience with SQL
Exposure to and experience with additional
software development languages such Python, Java, C, Scala, Go, Ruby
desirable
Have a good understanding of core software engineering
principles.
Exposure to and basic understanding of Unix
environments/systems
Exposure to and basic understanding of jQuery,
Javascript, HTML, CSS
Exposure to and basic understanding of Web
application design
Basic understanding of data structures
Basic
understanding of need to follow coding standards
Basic understanding of
code optimization principles
Ability to stay on task and focused on
delivering solutions as committed to
