The platform is built in Perl, Oracle, PL/SQL, Javascript, nodejs and a little C. We are looking for self-motivated Perl developers with knowledge of 1 or more of the languages we are using (and the willingness to learn more). We are using a great number of Perl technologies including; DBI DBD::Oracle DBD::SQLite AnyEvent ZMQ::FFI Log::Log4perl XML::Fast Cpanel::JSON::XS Memoize Algorithm::Combinatorics CHI MCE::Loop WWW::Curl IO::Socket::SSL Search::Elasticsearch You will be working with a small team of 4 developers in our offices near Wetherby, UK and there are a wide variety of tasks we are working on. Desired skills: Required skills: o Excellent knowledge of Perl and at least one of; Oracle PL/SQL, Javascript, C. o Good knowledge of Unix/Linux. o Good working knowledge of Subversion or Git. o excellent problem-solving skills. o Must be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
