Description:
We are seeking Analyst Programmers (PERL or Python) to join our Victorian
team.

- Participate as a member of the IT Implementations – Applications
Development team in completing, maintaining and supporting software
projects.
- Develop and test software systems based on user
requirements/specifications within agreed timeframes.
- Prepare and
maintain systems and application documentation
- Report to the IT
Implementations – Applications Development Manager regarding progress of
development projects.
- Partake in IT Development meetings, sharing
technological information with colleagues.
- Recommend to the Applications
Development Manager proposed new technology or improvement processes and
their applications.
Communicate with both internal and external clients
when, and where, appropriate.
- Contribute to the marketing of the image of
IT Development as a development group showcase that advances IT vision and
strategy.

Desired skills:
Perl (will also consider Python)
UNIX/Linux OS including shell scripting
Oracle including PL/SQL
XML
Java

Knowledge and experience in the following
technologies would be highly regarded:
Web based technologies
OO Perl
Oracle DBA experience
