Description:
As Webmaster, you will own the GT Nexus corporate website and technical
execution of e-marketing programs.  You will work closely with the
corporate marketing team to take good ideas from the concept stage through
final delivery. You will also be a key member of the GT Nexus creative
services group, supporting campaigns, lead generation, internal
communications, enterprise sales and customer rollouts.  The ideal person
will combine strong Web design skills with the technical “back end”
abilities to ensure the Website and related components keep up with the
evolving online marketing landscape.  You will also manage the company
intranet, which includes internal applications for all departments.  This
is high a profile position in a rapidly growing global company that will
give the right person the autonomy and flexibility to add tremendous value,
while having fun doing it.

Responsibilities 
- Maintain and optimize the corporate website
- Design and deploy new capabilities to website
- Maintain corporate intranet (internal) site
- Design new tools/applications to support marketing automation needs
- Support corporate initiatives where e-marketing is required
- Support marketing design needs -- these might extend beyond the Web


Required skills:
-Experience in object-oriented Perl, including CGI, DBI, and template
systems is critical component of our Web environment and experience here is
a must
-Thorough experience with CSS and Javascript
-Experience administrating MySQL
-Experience administrating IIS or Apache
-Experience with version control systems (CVS)
-Understanding of HTTP, cross-browser compatibility and search engine
optimization
-Creative/design experience, proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

-Experience with PHP
-Experience with MS SQL Server


Desired skills:
-Knowledge of best practices in usability engineering
-Be goal oriented and work well under pressure
-Ability to interact with people at multiple levels
