Ymogen is looking for an experienced, business focused senior Perl
developer, for a permanent role based in Hoxton, London, UK. 

Ymogen provides an interactive / community platform to blue chip companies,
in a wide variety of markets, including broadcast, music, publishing,
automotive and advertising sectors. We have an outstanding reputation with
our clients for quality and levels of service. 

We are currently engaged in expanding and enhancing our platform based on
the experience gained throught the last 4 years of development. 

We are seeking someone to join a great team of very talented people, on a
permanent basis. In addition to a highly competitive salary, the role
encompasses a wide and varied range of technical duties, including: 

* Software design, development, testing and implementation 
- both data management, and web based user-interface 
* Management of in-house and off-shore development resources
* Technical support to the sales team and technical account management


Required skills:
Professional, organized, self-starter 
Quality and attention to detail 
4+ years OO Perl
2+ years Postgres || Oracle || MySql
Experience with common modules - DBI, TT, etc
Knowledge of Apache and development of web applications
HTML
XML

Desired skills:
Linux sysadministration including:
Apache Web server,
CVS or Subversion
Catalyst || Ruby on Rails
Java (for mobile app development)
Mobile development
JS
