We are looking for a Perl & Apache & Unix/Linux & Mysql/Oracle QA and
Testing engineer who has a passion for innovation. You'll be a part of an

Primary Duties/Responsibilities: 
- Quality Assurance activities, Testing, Test Automation
- Design and develop Test Strategy and Comprehensive Test Plans (Unit,
Integration, System, Scalability, Performance, Stability and Reliability
Tests)
- Provide input to the design and implementation team to ensure that
testing considerations are incorporated in the design and code (e.g.,
instrumentation of code for debugging and for testability) 
- Conduct tests and document results
- Automation of Unit, Integration and System Testing through suitable tools

- Improve the process, time and quality of testing through innovative ways
by implanting templates, checklists, tools, new processes etc.

Required skills:
- Extreme programming/scripting skills in Perl ( C programming is a plus)
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux and Apache. 
- Excellent Skills in testing and quality assurance activities of web based
application
- Excellent skills in automating test cases through industry standard test
automation tools for web based applications
- Excellent analytic ability, strong communication skills, and a passion
for testing high performance and scalable applications
- Hands on troubleshooting skills are a big plus
- Good knowledge of Quality Assurance/Quality Control/Quality Management
- Structured software engineering skills and experience with mature
software life cycle processes are a plus
- Must be a TEAM PLAYER
- Good Oral and written communication skills

Desired skills:
- Knowledge of "Xtreme Programming"
- Knowledge of Email systems and protocols (SMTP, POP3, IMAP etc)
- Experience in a "Enterprise Product Development and Testing" environment
