Requirements for the position are: At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, coding, and implementation of enterprise-level web applications. Explicit hands-on development experience with Perl, on Linux and Apache is a MUST. Familiarity with both back-end and front-end web technologies. In addition equivalent experience with either .NET or J2EE is required. Proven development abilities in a demanding, fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. Experience with large storage systems, and large hosting facilities. Prior experience with imaging and/or publishing systems is a plus. A team player with excellent communication skills. Rates and salary will commensurate experience (package will include salary, bonus and company options). Candidates must be open to full time hire after a 3-4 months with the firm.
