Junior Perl/Linux Developer

Switch Management is a 7-year old Lafayette-based telecom software company
known for its innovative and  ward-winning telecom billing products,
including
WebCDR and RADIUS ASP.

We are a small company that has a track record of accomplishing a lot with

This position is contract-to-perm only to provide both you and us with
enough time to ensure that this match is an excellent one.  We require
three professional references from candidates at the preliminary interview.
 We perform a background check on candidates after the second  interview
per our corporate security policy.  No phone calls or visits without prior
invitation.

Required skills:
Technical
o Good software development foundation.
o 4-year Computer Science, Math, or related degree (or equivalent
experience).
o Some Linux sysadmin abilities.
o Perl a plus.
o SQL a plus.

Professional
o Excellent spoken and written English.  This position requires direct
  customer interaction for requirements gathering and application support.
o Highly productive; revenue aware.
o Ability to accept direction and instruction from management; ability to
track 
  and communicate status of your projects to management on a recurring
basis.
o Ability to multi-task and prioritize your workload.
o Ability to organize yourself and your projects.
o Ability to help clients via telephone and email in a tech support role.
