Description:
Analyze feature requirements and design specifications, write and review
test plans, execute and automate test cases on ACL policies, NAT/NAPT,
HTTP-Redirect features. 
Analyze customer-reported issues ACL/NAT/NAPT and HTTP-Redirect, reproduce
issues in-house, recommend solutions and work-around on customer-filed
bugs, enhanced and automate test case coverage based on these failures.
Improve test coverage on ACL/NAT/NAPT by identifying areas with no or
minimal test coverage and improve test suite based on information gathered
from existing tests and customer-filled bugs.
Enhance and execute testcases that focus on integrating ACL/NAT/NAPT and
HTTP-Redirect with other related BRAS features that are commonly used in
the field.
Worked with software developers to perform rapid root-cause analysis on
test failures.
Help in verifying bugs fixes for internally and externally found bugs.
Build and maintain test set-up and troubleshoot network problems.
Mentor junior engineers for them to come up to speed in less amount of time
and to continually provide technical discussion to improve team’s knowledge
on BRAS features and its application in the field. 

Will be mainly involved in testing and debugging different BRAS new
features and different IP Services features of the company’s
high-performance product. Thus, detailed knowledge and extensive experience
of different networking protocols are required particularly TCP/IP, IPv6,
NAT, QoS, PPP/PPPoE/MLPPP, L2TP, AAA/RADIUS/TACACS+, DHCP, Telnet/SSH. Good
routing knowledge is a plus. Should have good experience working in
Ethernet- and ATM-based test environment. Should have good experienced
configuring different high performance networking equipment such as Cisco
router/switches, high-performance test equipment such as SmartBits, IXIA,
Adtech, Agilent, and TestCenter. Should have good experienced in building
different test topologies involving high-performance networking equipment
and troubleshooting network-failures. Extensive experience in C-programming
or Perl scripting. Has worked closely with software development team to
perform root-cause analysis of software failures. Has experience in
working/reproducing customer bugs reported from the field. Need to have
good technical and analytical skills to perform rapid root-cause analysis
of software failures and ability to provide work-around. 


Required skills:
Requires an MS/BS in Computer Science or Engineering and a minimum of 5
years of related experience testing IP-based router product.

Experience in testing and configuring network equipment
Detailed knowledge of networking protocols
Experience in C or Perl Program
