You'll be working closely with other R&D team members and search marketing specialists to provide new and innovative ways to deliver tools that help service our clients. Responsibilities include: - Playing an active role in implementing and providing feedback on new product features and processes - Implementing new product features in a complex system using Perl. - Becoming actively involved in team and company-wide architecture discussions Required skills: Job Requirements: We are searching for exceptional, enthusiastic software engineers that have a strong command of Perl; knowledge of C is helpful but not essential. Knowledge of PHP and search engine optimization is also plus. The candidate must also have significant experience with the UNIX/Linux environment. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of programming experience and a strong resume of successfully launching web products. This candidate will be experienced with designing and implementing large scale systems and be well versed in application and network programming. The ideal candidate will be able to assess current processes to determine scalability and reliability and make recommendations for improvement.
