Projects include working on developing new open mapping APIs, new product development at a medium-sized, dynamic and growing onling mapping company, based in Central London. Maintain and enhance our existing product range. Develop technical solutions to meet the business requirements and in line with the Project Lifecycles Work with the Product Marketing, Product Management and Project Managers to analyse, define, design and implement solutions in line with the applications that will meet our customers' needs. Required skills: A demonstrable knowledge of Perl, mod_perl, Apache, Linux (or Unix) and Relational databases (e.g. MySQL) is required, along with an awareness of structured programming methodologies (OO, modular) and coding standards. Additional desirable technical skills would be XML technologies, (X)HTML and CSS, SQL, JavaScript.
