Posted: July 11, 2006 Job title: Perl Developer for Test Automation Company name: PrideStaff Location: Santa Clara, CA, San Jose Pay rate: $50 to $60/hr USD, W2 Travel: 0% Terms of employment: Hourly employee Length of employment: 4 mo+ Hours: Full time Onsite: yes Description: Need 1 more Perl Developer to create new Perl automated test programs utilizing extensive Perl library to test sophisticated Linux/Windows (NFS & CIFS) File System software products. I have placed over 22 people with this client in the last two years with 13 having converted to full time employees. I have several on contract there currently. This gig is 4 months with possibility of extension or going Contract to Hire. Work is all onsite with nicely flexible work hours. Location is Santa Clara/Sunnyvale part of the South SF Bay Area (Silicon Valley) and is near public transportation. Please reply with your resume. Must have right to work for any US company on an individual W2 basis. There is no relocation assistance or remote work. Required skills: - Strong Perl Coding skills (must understand scripting, modules, forked processes) - Work in both Linux and Windows environments - Solid at debugging Perl Scripts - Have experience with File systems - Working knowledge of NFS, CIFS, FC, and iSCSI (NFS plus one other is ok) - Be a self-starter, able to work with little direction/supervision - Able to work onsite in Santa Clara/Sunnyvale area.
