Description:
Major online advertising client in Manhattan seeks a Linux System
Administrator.	Great opportunity to join a fast-growing company who have
developed pioneering interactive marketing tools.

Responsibilities: 

* Manage, tune and configure high availability systems. 

* Perform application upgrades to online servers. 

* Collaborate with the development team early in the development life cycle
to design supportability of revised/new applications. 

* Write administration policies. 


Required skills:
* 3-5+ years experience as an administrator within a Linux environment. 

* Knowledge of local and wide area networking protocols including TCP/IP,
etc. 

* Experience with Perl, Shell scripting languages. 

* Experience with hardware RAID arrays, BIOS settings, etc. 

* Experience with large installations. 

* Experience with IP Tables and Linux firewall servers. 


Desired skills:
* Experience installing and configuring MySQL database servers is a plus.
