Description:
This really is one of those opportunities that only comes up once in a
proverbial blue moon. My client operates 60 thriving community sites
bringing together local people, jobs and services with the backing of one
of the biggest players in the industry but still manages to keep that
dynamic entrepreneurial atmosphere normally associated with start-ups. We
are looking for a real Perl whiz who will be the primary technical
developer for the site writing robust, efficient and scaleable Perl code
for both the front-end and infrastructure related projects. Probably a
computer science graduate with a couple of years commercial experience
working on high performance sites, you will be both enthusiastic and detail
orientated  and able to take responsibility for advancing and delivering on
concurrent projects. Your technical background will include mod_perl,
FastCGI , TTK, MySql. Bonus points awarded for PHP, Ajax etc.

Required skills:
Perl, mod-perl, TTK are all essentials. Good QA skills especially
performance testing

Desired skills:
