JOB POSTION: Senior PERL Systems Developer 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 
- Apply critical thinking and quantitative skills to improve efficiency of
the business 
- Design high-quality, modular database-driven applications to help solve
current and future problems 
- Produce structured, well-documented code 
- Communicate well and participate in a fast-paced team environment 
- Troubleshoot and solve existing problems while moving forward with new
solutions 
- Interact with other developers and personnel to create and test
applications 
- Work with representatives of business units to gather requirements and
define project scope 

DESIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE 
- SQL and in particular MySQL 
- Working knowledge of CVS version control system 
- Intermediate knowledge of Linux systems administration 
- Experience with the LogiXML reporting platform is a plus 
- Perl CGI as well as modern templating environments such as HTML::Template
and Mason 
- HTML and JavaScript a plus

Midtown Manhattan

Required skills:
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 
- BS/BA (MS preferred) degree in computer science, computer engineering,
mathematics or Information Systems 
- 7+ years of experience with Perl, relational databases and web
applications 
- 3+ years of experience with the Apache Web server, mod_perl 1.0 and 2.0
and related web server configuration 
- 3+ years of experience with application and user interface design 
- Experience developing reports on any reporting/BI platform (Crystal,
BusinessObjects, Cognos, Intelliview, Jasper, etc.)
