Feedster, Inc. is looking for exceptional candidates that have a history of
delivering complex, scalable and well architected software products. In
this case, you will help lead the design and development of our latest
generation RSS/ATOM crawler platform and related technology. The world of
RSS is experiencing incredible growth and continues to evolve as the new
preferred approach for content delivery across the internet. We believe

Responsibilities

*Design and develop a variety of Perl-based crawler solutions and related
software projects
*Collaborate with other team members, including technical staff in our San
Francisco and Brisbane AU development offices and product management
*Participate in regular technology design meetings
*Follow through on commitments - be results oriented and take ownership for
your work
*Be a team player and contribute to a positive working environment

Required skills:
Requirements

*Must be very proficient in Perl with primary experience in object- orient
Perl development
*Must demonstrate that you follow best practices in software engineering
*Must have a proven track record designing scalable solutions
*Must demonstrate an aptitude for applying the right technology solutions
to solve complex problems
*Must have a fundamental grasp of XML, SQL and OO, preferably using
Java/J2EE


Desired skills:
*Advanced degrees in Mathematics a major plus
