Description:
Global Investment Bank located in New York has an immediate opportunity for
a OnDemand/CSM Developer OnDemand / CSM developer for compliance archiving.
Currently, the books and records for Institutional Securities and other
critical reporting data are maintained in IBM's OnDemand product. In
addition, a lightweight set of software (CSM) that facilitates retrieval of
non-structured content archived to SEC compliant storage is in place.
Currently there is one product and development manager, a junior developer,
and a set of offshore development resources. The ideal candidate will have
a working knowledge of SEC and NASD legal requirements for Broker/Dealers
and experience in these types of organizations.

Required skills:
Database: DB2 or Sybase
Programming Languages: Perl required, C a help, UNIX Shells
Products: Content Management products in general are a help but not
required. Development experience with large UNIX based client-server
systems. Strong UNIX server skills, especially Solaris and LINUX.

Desired skills:
Experience with large system deployments; Software source code management
software and procedures - Brokerage SW SC and deployment experience a big
plus; Experience with compliant storage systems and archive systems a plus;
Products of interest: IBM Content Manager OnDemand IBM and Tivoli Storage
Manager (TSM) are an advantage. Web portal development skills.
