Description:
A new start up is looking for 2 OO Perl contractors. The company is in the
business of credit card transaction processing and if fully funded. The
architecture and data model designs are complete and the initial OO Perl
Development is just beginning. The OO Perl developers will be responsible
for the new development of a high volume credit card processing system from
the ground up expected to handle 10K transactions/day within the first few
months of production. The OO Perl is currently developed and deployed on
Debian Linux with MySQL on the backend.

Required skills:
REQUIREMENTS
MUST have 2+ yrs of OO Perl development on Linux for high volume
applications and/or systems
MUST have solid database skills (preferable MySQL) including the ability to
design relational databases, interface OO Perl code with databases and SQL
optimization of queries. Oracle is acceptable.
Since this is a 100% telecommuting position, good over the phone
communication skills mandatory.
