Key activities in this position will include: developing applications from initial concept through to requirements, system design, coding, testing and roll-out; maintaining applications in response to new functionality requests; providing final level issue resolution to application users, developing new content delivery conversions for new customers and delivery channels. Required skills: You will have a numerate/ technical degree e.g. Computer Science with knowledge of PERL,Java, XML, HTML, UNIX, APACHE, TOMCAT, SQL, and CGI Scripting. Ideally you will also have knowledge of Solaris/Linux operating Systems, Oracle or MySQL, XSL/T, XQUERY, Javascript, and PDF. Desired skills: Experience gained in an on-line publishing environment would be an advantage.
