Description:
IPsoft, Inc. has immediate openings for experienced Perl Developers.  This
is a unique opportunity for Perl wizards to enhance and apply their Perl
proficiency by working with a team of cutting-edge Perl experts managing
world-wide enterprise class servers. We are seeking engineers from
prestigious institutes working in top-notch companies. The candidate should
be amongst the BEST in the domain of Perl programming. PHP experience to be
considered a bonus, but extensive Perl experience is required. 
 
Required Perl Experience
Experience designing and developing Perl applications through full life
cycle, from requirements stage to final delivery.
Solid understanding of Perl syntax and conceptual understanding of Perl
constructs.
Solid experience and understanding of Perl OO (Object Oriented) Paradigm
required. All applications are to be developed through the use of
meaningful packages.
Solid understanding of HTTP protocol and apache web server.
Understanding of extended perl concepts such as mod_perl.
Understanding of Regular Expressions and their usage.
Experience with standalone perl application development.
Experience developing web-based (mod_perl, CGI, Mason) Perl applications.
Experience designing RDBMS schemas and queries.
Minimum 3 years experience working with production environments.

Technical Skills
Perl, PHP, mod_perl, CGI, Mason, Design, TCP/IP, UDP/IP, HTTP, MySQL,
PostgreSQL Oracle, MSSQL, Web Design

Relevant Experience
Solid understanding of networking protocols and design (TCP/IP, UDP/IP,
HTTP, etc). 
Solid understanding of Operating System design and implementation. 
Optimization of database tables and queries. 
Basic database administration tasks (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL). 
Algorithmic performance analysis and optimization. 
Sensitivity to security requirements in design and implementation.
