Description:
Infoblox is seeking a well rounded Senior Software Engineer to join our
team. The successful candidate must have a strong sense of accountability
and a "can-do" attitude with willingness to take the necessary steps to
deliver great results. It is critical the candidate be accustomed to
working with deadlines, work independently with little direction, capable
of creative problem solving, interacts well with team members and documents
their work and code well and habitually.

Required skills:
    *  Senior developer with 5 or more years of experience.
    * Background and experience working across the C / scripted language
boundary.
	  o Prior experience extending perl by linking against C libraries
with XS highly desirable but experience extending other scripting languages
such as python or ruby with C could do as well
    * 2+ yrs experience writing production quality perl and a desire to
write more of it
    * 2+ yrs experience with C in a Unix environment, including basic Unix
shells, make, version control, compilers, interpreters.
    * Team lead skills:
	  o 3+ years experience leading small development teams
	  o Capable of converting customer requirements into software
design into production code.
    * Familiarity with some of the following is highly desirable:
databases, embedded, relational, object-oriented; distributed computing,
network programming, IPC; grid computing, cluster computing.
    * Excellent English written and verbal communication skills are
required, as this person will be working with several cross-function teams.


    * Full software development life-cycle experience, with a proven track
record of shipping software.
    * Flexible and has the ability to absorb new technologies quickly.
    * Results oriented, product focused with excellent attention to detail
and quality.

    * Focus primarily on management software, smart upgrades, protocol
technologies
