Reporting To: Content Services Project Management 
Position Summary: 
You will work with the Content Services and Project Management teams to
provide technical solutions for building, enhancing and supporting Content
Management Systems. This position would suit someone with current PERL and
exposure to JAVA (xtraining provided)development experience in delivering
technical solutions. 
 
General Duties and Responsibilities:  
·	Develop and maintain software- and SW-based tools to support
Content management systems using PERL and JAVA 
·	Resolve issues through appropriate channels and resources. 
·	Work closely with other CMS and technology teams such as Data
Architecture, Support and Training and E-Services. 
·	Work closely with project end-users throughout the project
life-cycle. 
·	Contribute to the development of best practice within the CMS
Applications Development team. 
Key Tasks:  
·	Establish detailed understanding of CMS. 
·	Acquire knowledge of the systems deployed for CMS. 
·	Provide technical solutions to the user requirements.	
Skills / Knowledge / Experience  
It is essential that you are able to demonstrate and apply:  
·	Demonstrable experience in developing business applications using
PERL, JAVA and Oracle. 
·	Good experience with XML and good understanding of XSLT. 
·	Strong knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems. 
·	Experience with configuring APACHE and TOMCAT. 
·	Good communication skills and the ability to work as a team player.

It is also desirable that you are able to demonstrate and apply:  
·	Experience in Content Management Systems is desirable. 


Required skills: PERL, ORACLE, XML, XSLT.

Desired skills:
JAVA, J2EE, APACHE, CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS.
