Description:
An established ecommerce company located in Bellevue, Washington, is
looking for an experienced Database Administrator.  The person filling this
position will be responsible for design, implementation, and
maintenance of MySQL databases in a high transaction volume ecommerce
production datacenter.	

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement and support production MySQL databases.

- Manage disaster recovery policies and processes for MySQL databases.

- Provide 24/7 support for production databases.

- Work with application developers to identify and fix database/SQL
  bottlenecks and failures in production code.


Required skills:
Requirements:

- BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline

- 4+ years experience as a database administrator.

- Experience with production UNIX ecommerce environment.

- Expert level knowledge of SQL/MySQL.

- Strong experience with UNIX shell and/or Perl scripting.  Especially
  for text manipulation and UNIX text filters.

- Experience with C/C++ or PHP a plus.

- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
