Description:
Summersault, LLC is a small website development firm based in Richmond,
Indiana.  We seek to hire a qualified programmer to develop and maintain a
variety of web-based software applications, while incorporating a passion
for Summersault’s particular mission and vision.  More information about

description mentions requirements related to residency near our office, we
are open to some kinds of telecommuting possibilities.

Required skills:
1) Proficient knowledge of Perl or another high-level programming language
such as Python, Ruby, or Java.	A working knowledge of Perl is required.
2) Proficient knowledge of a UNIX development environment 
3) Proficient knowledge of SQL and relational databases, with a preference
toward the PostgreSQL RDBMS; knowledge of the Oracle or MySQL RDBMSs is
also acceptable
4) Basic knowledge of HTML and related technologies
5) Basic understanding of the Common Gateway Interface (CGI) software
paradigm
6) Previous experience in developing at least one significant software
project in the website application paradigm


Desired skills:
1) Knowledge of data modeling theory and practice
2) Familiarity with FreeBSD, PostgreSQL, and source control systems
3) Familiarity with Javascript, AJAX, and Dynamic HTML, Dreamweaver, Flash
4) An understanding of and past participation in the Open Source Software
movement.
5) A strong commitment to involvement in local community
