We need a senior engineer to for our server applications group. You'll be implementing complex business logic, designing application frameworks, and generally helping us design and build applications in our horizontally-scaled (hundreds of servers) open-source-based Linux/Perl/C/Apache/AJAX/etc environment. Required skills: Fluency in Perl, including OO and mod_perl CGI. Experience with XML::* a plus. 5+ years experience developing high-volume Perl and Apache applications under Unix or Linux. Basic Linux sys admin skills, including experience setting up and tuning Apache. Ability to work closely with others in a highly cooperative environment.
