Description:
Primarily a Perl programming position.

Assist IT Manager to define web-based application requirements, output
needs and security controls; Develop user interface and output prototypes,
and validate with users; Assist with design of relational database schema;
Recommend technical and procedural design for new or revised applications
including flow charts, system specifications, programming guidelines and
code review. Review, modify and/or write program code; Perform unit,
integration, and system testing prior to delivery; write documentation of
system procedures, software and data structure designs or modifications,
and application user guidelines. Other duties as required.  

Required skills:
Bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of training and experience;
One year of relevant experience may substitute for one year of education.
Job-related programming experience or experience with programming
coursework. Working knowledge of HTML with CSS, Perl, structured query
language. Excellent written and oral communication. Ability to multi-task
and work cooperatively with others.  

Desired skills:
Degree in a field which requires a knowledge and use of computing including
programming. At least one of two years of application development
experience using Perl language and relational databases. Additionally,
working knowledge of Unix/Linux, MySQL, client-side JavaScript, XML.
