Ymogen is looking for an experienced OO Perl
developer, for a permanent role based in Hoxton, London, UK. 

Ymogen's community platform, which spans mobile and fixed devices, is used
by blue chip companies,
in markets, including broadcast, music, publishing, automotive and
advertising sectors. 

We have an outstanding reputation with our clients for quality and levels
of service. 

We are currently engaged in expanding and enhancing our platform based on
the experience gained throught the last 4 years of development. 

We are seeking someone to join a great team of very talented people, on a
permanent basis. In addition to a highly competitive salary, the role
offers excellent experieince developing a new form of community application
and exposure to mobile development 

* Software design, development, testing and implementation 
- both data management, and web based user-interface 
* Technical support to the sales team and technical account management

Required skills:
Professional, organized, self-starter 
Quality and attention to detail 
4+ years OO Perl
2+ years Postgres || Oracle || MySql
Experience with common modules - DBIx, TT, etc
Knowledge of Apache and development of web applications
HTML
XML

Desired skills:
Linux sysadministration including:
Flash, JS
Apache Web server,
CVS or Subversion
Catalyst || Ruby on Rails
Java (for mobile app development)
Mobile development
