Share responsibility and ownership of the company website 
• Work closely with R&D and business analytics teams 
• Dream up and design new products and functionality 
• Write code used by millions of people per day 
• Not compromise on quality 
• Work closely with other brilliant engineers on a daily basis 
The role of the Senior Software engineers is to be the lead Programmer of
the development team, working with Mod_Perl to enhance and develop mission
critical systems to the business. This includes the full life cycle of
development. Design and Architecture of new solutions as well as
maintaining, enhancing, fixing and future developing of existing systems.
Mentor junior members of the team is another key part of this role. You
will be helping to shape the future of online shopping. 


Required skills:

• Perl/mod_perl 
• RDBMS fundamentals 
• Proficient in Object Oriented design and development 
• Ability to formally communicate architectural designs and plans 
• Must have experience of working with developers and project/business
owners 
• Experience integrating open source technologies in 

Desired skills:
Test-driven development 
• Fundamentals in design patterns 
• Participation in Agile development environment 
• Template Toolkit experience 
• BS in Computer Science or comparable experience 
• Domain experience in n-tier web application development 
• Working experience with web and networking protocols and concepts
