Description:
LRN is looking for an experienced Software Engineer.

REQUIREMENTS: 
•	5+ years professional software development experience.
•	Strong object oriented design and programming skills using one or
more of Java, C++, Perl, Smalltalk, etc. including understanding and use of
design patterns.
•	Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills

Additional Preferred Experience:
•	Strong JavaScript skills and mod_perl.
•	Understanding of W3C standards: XHTML, CSS, DOM, XSLT, XPath,
XSL-FO, HTTP
•	Relational database skills (data modeling, writing SQL statements
and stored procedures, understanding performance and capacity issues, etc)
•	Demonstrated understanding of N-Tiered architectures for
Internet-based applications
•	Work experience at a software product company
•	Experience with courseware standards: SCORM and AICC
