What you can bring to Yahoo!: Experience in designing and developing software using object-oriented languages. Experience of developing in Perl (object oriented), the primary language of this team. Experience of source control management tools (e.g. CVS), and an understanding of software release cycles. Strong Linux / Unix skills. Experience designing and creating distributed Web systems. Experience of data management experience with relational databases. Strong understanding of XML, HTTP, SOAP, Web Services and similar technologies Enthusiasm for creating and evolving effective solutions for client development. Experience with agile programming methods and a passion for Unit Testing. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
