Posted: January 17, 2007 Job title: Perl Developer for Financial Trading Firm Company name: Deerfield Capital Management Location: United States, IL, Chicago Travel: 0% Terms of employment: Salaried employee Hours: Full time Description: We are seeking a software developer who is capable of designing, building and maintaining financial applications. Areas of responsibilities will include Front-, Middle- and Back Office, as well as Logistics (Marketing, Legal and HR). Based on user requests, the candidate will develop applications using multiple technologies and platforms (Unix and MS Windows, database interfaces, web services/clients, mod_perl scripts, and more) It's a dynamic environment, so you should be prepared to multi-task. We will request code samples in Perl, along with any other language you may wish to demonstrate your abilities in. Required skills: At least 2 to 4 years experience in Perl development, and a BS in Computer Science or equivalent. Familiarity with software development methodologies, including idiomatic Perl, is essential.
