Have you ever looked at blog software or a photo gallery and thought that

The Opera Community has over 600.000 users, and is growing rapidly. Opera
is seeking exceptional and experienced system developers to help develop
and maintain the community and related services.

Responsibilities
Making sure both new and existing community services scale to handle our
ever-increasing user base
Developing exciting new features and services on the Opera Community and
related websites
Leading a group of highly skilled developers to create one of the worlds
best online communities
Maintaining the existing Opera Community and related websites

Required skills:
Requirements (one or more)
3+ years of industry experience developing web applications
Experience with Linux environments
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Good working knowledge of English, written and spoken
Familiarity with XML and XSLT
Experienced in database design and SQL
Good knowledge of (X)HTML, CSS and Javascript
Excellent Perl skills

Desired skills:
Ideals (one or more)
Good knowledge of Apache mod_perl
Experience developing large community websites
