If youre excited about the potential of Web 2.0, about building rich internet applications using technologies like Ajax and Flash, and are equally comfortable architecting the database schema and back-end systems, then read on. You will be a key player in a small development team with the autonomy of a start-up, while benefiting from the support and connections of Sonys wide range of consumer electronics and services groups. You have an excellent understanding of the consumer internet space and knowledge of current design tools, techniques and methodologies. You continually keep abreast of new technologies, and are able to learn and adopt these rapidly. Required skills: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent 3+ years of web development experience Strong conceptual thinker and problem solver Experience with software best practices of test-driven development, refactoring, and use of design patterns.
