Company Description

My client is part of an Anglo-French Group and Europe’s largest online
service within their industry. The projected group turnover is around 30M€
in 2006. The emphasis is on very high quality customer service and products
for which they have won many awards. The group has technology teams and
production operations in London and Paris. 

 

Main Purpose of Job

My client required 2x contract developers to develop components of my
clients’ current and future web sites as well as back room applications and
maintenance scripts.

 

Relationships

Reporting to the technology team leader in London and liaising with the
Project Manager and lead developer.

 

Main Tasks of Job

Follow project specifications and timescales 
Develop components of the web platform in Perl / PHP / Mason 
Ensure appropriate use of object / translation layers according to API 
Use CVS to manage development 
Integrate with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash presentation layer 
Ensure clear, consistent documentation 
 

 

Other requirements

Occasional visits to Paris may be needed but these will be rare. Ability to
speak French would be an advantage but is not essential.

perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the
organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation. 

 

 

Rate:		     good market rate available

 

Location:	  Northwest London (Nearest Tube station: Park Royal)
