Job Description:
Design and build the guts of ticketmaster.com.	You will have heavy
influence on complex parts of the ticketmaster.com application. 
 
You may be called upon to develop new servers from scratch, facilitate
design meetings about core code modules, or refactor code that cuts across
multiple applications.

You will code primarily using Perl but may occasionally be required to
write C modules for Apache.

In a typical workday you'll work on a project coding new functionality, fix
a few bugs, eat some lunch, write some unit tests, and meet with your team
to design developing projects. 


Required skills:

•	Mastery of Perl objects and general Object-Oriented concepts

•	Linux/Unix fluency - it's our desktop OS

•	SQL inserting, updating, retrieving, and optimization skills
•	Understanding of common design patterns
•	Solid grasp of Apache and mod_perl
•	Ability to communicate tech concepts and designs across the
organization 


Desired skills:
•	C/C++ wizardry
•	Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar
•	Database design experience
•	CPAN, Apache, mod_perl, or other community involvement
