Location: United States, CA, San Francisco Pay rate: Junior Engineer Travel: 0% Terms of employment: Independent contractor (hourly) Length of employment: 3 Months - Permanent Hours: Full time Onsite: yes Description: We seek a solid Perl engineer familiar with OO techniques. Must work well with others and have the ability to switch easily between multiple tasks. The offers a combination of project work, defect fixes, and general maintenance. You'd work under the direct supervision or a very senior Perl engineer. If you're uncomfortable with classes, objects and abstract coding methods this job is not for you. We are looking for someone to be a part of our team. WE WORK IN A LINUX ENVIRONMENT AND EXPECT YOU TO AS WELL. Required skills: Perl/ OO-Perl MySQL (must understand joins) HTML (per standard) JavaScript (limited) CSS Dynamic HTML Template Toolkit (If you know HTML::Toolkit or something similar and are willing to get up to speed on Template Toolkit this is fair enough).
