Why Does This KiokuX::User code fail?

Hi all!

I have some Catalyst code which I'm trying to convert to KiokuX::User here:

(sorry for the broken-in-part link but the perl.org URL shortener is blocked 
by the spam filters).

Now, when running the tests I'm getting strange errors in t/login.t (badly 
named - it tests the entire app).

Can anyone shed some light on this problem? I asked for help on the IRC but no 
one responded ( :-( ).
