Sure.  Do you want to do the release yourself?  If you give me your github
user name I can add you to the https://github.com/libwww-perl group and
then set up co-maint on CPAN.

I've had a hard time finding time and motivation to review patches and do
the grunt work to get releases out recently.  That's not likely to change
in a while. I'm personally not using Perl for much web work these days.
